Installation :
For optimum adhesion, use shaved or depilated skin (preferably clipped).
Clean skin thoroughly. You can use the hydroalcoholic wipe supplied with your Freestyle libre sensor.
Dry the site carefully.
For optimum adhesion, avoid applying creams, lotions or body oils.
Apply the Capteur Protect patch to your blood glucose sensor without stretching it.
Rub the patch to activate the heat-sensitive adhesive.
Wait 45-60 minutes before showering, swimming or strenuous activity.
Your patch can stay in place for up to 7 days, or even longer depending on your activities.
Removal :
Removing the adhesive patch is simple: just peel it off while holding on to the skin and the blood glucose sensor.
It's best to remove the patch when it's completely dry.
