RACECADOTRIL 100MG 10 GELULES BIOGARAN CONSEIL

The active ingredient is Rakecadotril 100 mg.

The other components are: Lactose monohydrate, pregelatinised starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate. And the capsule shell: Yellow iron oxide (E172), titanium dioxide (E171), gelatin.

The box contains 10 capsules.

In case of diarrhoea you should take one capsule at once, at any time, then one capsule three times a day, preferably before or at the beginning of the three main meals. To be swallowed with a glass of water

You should not exceed 3 days of treatment.

Do not take Rakecadotril 100 mg if you are allergic to any of the components of this medicine.

Be careful in case of blood or pus in your stools and if you have a fever (higher than 38.5°C), or severe dehydration (which may result in weight loss, great fatigue, malaise, dark and sunken eyes) you must stop the treatment and consult your doctor.

Tell your doctor beforehand if you have diarrhoea during a broad-spectrum antibiotic treatment, if you suffer from kidney or liver disease or in case of prolonged or uncontrolled vomiting.
