GAVISCONELL SUGAR-FREE MINT, chewable tablet sweetened with aspartam and acesulfame potassium provides rapid relief of the pain and discomfort caused by heartburn and acid reflux.
These symptoms can occur, for example, after meals or during pregnancy, or when there is inflammation of the esophagus.
This medicine is intended to relieve your stomach pain.
Heartburn, heartburn and acid reflux can be caused by changes in diet (acidic or spicy foods, alcoholic beverages, etc.) or by taking certain medications (aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, etc.). Do not hesitate to talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Four tablets contain 246 mg of sodium and 320 mg of calcium carbonate. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TAKING THIS MEDICATION if you have been instructed to follow a low sodium diet, especially if you have heart failure, or a low calcium diet, especially if you have high calcium levels in your blood, or if you have kidney stones.
KEEP THIS MEDICINE OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

This treatment may be less effective if you have low stomach acid.
If you have phenylketonuria, be aware that this medication contains aspartam, a source of phenylalanine.

Dosage
Adults, including the elderly, and children over 12 years of age: two to four tablets, after the main meals and in the evening at bedtime.
IT IS IMPERATIVE TO CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR if your complaints do not disappear after 7 days of treatment and/or if the pain is associated with fever and/or vomiting.
Method of administration
Take by mouth.
Chew the tablet well before swallowing.

If you have taken more GAVISCONELL SUGAR-FREE MINT, chewable tablet sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium than you should have: consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
Instructions in case of missed doses
If you forget to take GAVISCONELL SUGAR-FREE MINT, chewable tablet sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium: do not take a double dose to make up for the one you forgot to take.

If you take too many tablets, you may feel bloated.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Expiry date
Do not use GAVISCONELL SUGAR-FREE MINT, chewable tablet sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium after the expiry date stated on the box.
Storage conditions
For the blister pack presentation (PVC/PE/PVDC/Aluminium): Store at a temperature not exceeding +30°C.
For the boxed presentation (Polypropylene): No special storage precautions are required.
